Create a list and add URLs
- In the Network tab, tap + New list next to URL playlists. On desktop it’s the + next to URL playlists in the sidebar.
- Enter the address under Single URL. If there’s a URL on your clipboard it’s already filled in, and Paste puts it in again.
- Leave Title (optional) empty to use the file name. In Add to, pick an existing list, or with + New list type a List name.
- Tap Check to preview the format and length, then Save. Saving without checking marks the item Unchecked.
Tip The list is created when you save. If you go back while typing, no empty list is left behind.
- To add to an existing list, tap Add URL on the list screen. Add URL under the + at the top right of the Network tab works too.
- On desktop you can also drag a URL or .m3u file onto the window, or paste with Ctrl V, to add it to the open list.
- On TV, enter URLs with the on-screen keyboard. For long values like headers, Type on your phone is easier.

Import an M3U playlist
- In Add URL, choose Playlist file (M3U) and enter the address of a .m3u or .m3u8 file, or paste text starting with #EXTM3U.
- When Found N items appears, add them all at once with Create list (or Save). Titles from #EXTINF become item titles.
- Headers in the file (#EXTVLCOPT User-Agent · Referer, #EXTHTTP) are kept as that item’s headers — on the free plan too.
- Use ⋮ › Export as M3U on the list screen to move a list to another app or device. Hidden header values are left out.
Play and organize
- Tap an item to play it. Play all · Shuffle play the list in order or mixed up.
- Your position is saved, so next time it resumes from there. Live streams with no length get a Live tag and no resume point.
- The ⋮ next to an item has Edit URL · Check · Move up · Move down · Delete. On desktop, right-click the row.
- Check all in the list’s ⋮ checks every URL at once, and Delete list removes the list.
- URL playlists aren’t indexed into the library and get no movie info. Titles come from what you typed, then the M3U title, then the file name.
| Check result | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Ready to play | The format and length were read |
| Check the headers (authentication) | The server refused with 401 or 403. Check that the Authorization value is right and hasn’t expired |
| URL not found | 404 — the address changed or was removed |
| No response | No answer in time |
| Stopped: certificate error | This address’s certificate doesn’t match (see ‘List settings’ below) |
HTTP headers
Streams that open only with a token, cookie or Referer need HTTP headers on the URL. Add them quickly with the User-Agent · Referer · Origin · Authorization · Cookie chips, or use Custom for other names.
- Headers in the list screen’s List settings go to every URL in that list (default headers). If the names match, the header on the URL wins.
- Authorization, Cookie and headers whose names contain token · key · auth · secret get Hide value (the lock) turned on automatically. Hidden values stay only in this device’s secure storage and are left out of logs, problem reports and exports. Use Show briefly to check one.
- Headers go only to that URL’s server and to HLS · DASH segments on the same server. If you’re redirected to another server, hidden headers are dropped. If a CDN needs them too, turn on Also send headers to video segments on other servers in list settings.
- Host · Range · Content-Length · Connection · Transfer-Encoding are set by the app and can’t be added. Names may use only letters, digits and -.
- An http address with hidden headers shows This URL isn’t encrypted. Use an https address when you can.
Note Turn on Ignore certificate errors for this list only for lists of addresses you trust. Without certificate checks, a server in the middle could take your header values.

On the free plan, PRO appears next to HTTP headers and the fields are read-only. Header editing can’t be unlocked with an ad. Advanced audio and sending to a TV follow the same rules as other videos.
Moving to another device
- URL playlists are stored only on this device and don’t sync between devices on their own.
- Use Send settings in the Network tab to send URL playlists along with NAS servers to another device or TV (see ‘NAS and network connections’).
- Or import an Export as M3U file on the other device. Hidden header values are left out.
